Who we are

BottleForge Industrial Co., Ltd. ("BottleForge", "we", "us") is a manufacturer of custom drinkware registered in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China. Our exporting business is conducted in English with B2B buyers worldwide. The data controller for this site is BottleForge Industrial Co., Ltd., reachable at [email protected].

What we collect

Information you give us

  • RFQ & contact form data: company name, contact name, email, phone/WhatsApp, country, business type, product interest, quantity range, decoration method preferences, target price, required delivery date, and any free-text message you submit.
  • Email correspondence: the content of emails you send to our sales team.
  • Attachments: artwork files, logos, moodboards, or other documents you choose to send.

Information collected automatically

  • Cookies: A small set, only after you accept via the consent banner. Used to remember your preference and to count anonymous page views.
  • Server logs: IP address, browser type, referrer, page visited, timestamp. Retained 30 days for security/diagnostics.
  • Analytics: If enabled by us, aggregate page-view counts only — no third-party tracking pixels by default.

How we use it

  • To respond to your inquiry with a quote, lead time, and sample if requested.
  • To maintain a B2B account relationship if you place an order — order history, packaging dielines, color formulas saved for reorder consistency.
  • To send shipping documents, certificates, inspection reports, and invoices related to your orders.
  • To improve the website and identify which buyer questions need better content coverage.

What we don't do

  • We do not sell, rent, or trade your contact information to third parties.
  • We do not send marketing emails unless you explicitly opt in.
  • We do not use ad-network tracking pixels by default.
  • We do not share your artwork or proprietary design information with anyone outside our production team.

Legal bases (GDPR)

  • Contract / pre-contract: Processing your RFQ and order is necessary to fulfil a contract or to take steps at your request before entering a contract.
  • Legitimate interests: Responding to inquiries, retaining order history for reorder consistency, basic site security.
  • Consent: Cookies (where required), marketing emails.

Where data is stored

Inquiry data is stored on our company email server (hosted in mainland China) and CRM. Order documentation is stored in our ERP system (also China-hosted). We rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) when EU customer data needs to leave the EEA for processing.

Retention

  • RFQ submissions that don't become orders: deleted after 24 months.
  • Active customer accounts: kept for the duration of the business relationship + 5 years for tax/customs records (required by Chinese accounting law).
  • Cookies: max 12 months from acceptance.
  • Server logs: 30 days.

Your rights

Under GDPR (if you're in the EU/UK) and CCPA (if you're a California resident), you have the right to:

  • Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate data
  • Ask us to delete your data (subject to legal retention obligations)
  • Object to processing or restrict it
  • Withdraw consent at any time (e.g., revoke cookie consent in your browser)
  • Lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority

Security

We use TLS encryption for all communication with this site. Email accounts use 2FA. Our CRM is access-controlled to the export sales team only. We have not had a data breach incident as of the effective date above.

Children

This site is intended for B2B buyers (typically adults in commercial roles). We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes

We will update this policy if our practices materially change. The "Effective" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Past versions are available on request.
